Shakespeare's use of the Engish language

Shakespeare always use words that we are not often use in our real life. He makes up his own words, but the words that he used have deep meanings. His words have very strong meanings. They could make people to think further. When John first starts reading Shakespeare, he discovers that the words make his emotions "more real", they ever make other people more real, that is because John has never read these words before.Even though he is very smart and well educationed, but he couldn't find any words to express his feelings. Only Shakespear's words could express his feelings. The language in the book make people pluck up the courage to do something. John doesn't fit in neighter the State World nor the reservation, but he has to make himself to fit in. When he read Shakespare's works,the power of the language and the power of the words make him to change his behavior,to make him think he is part of the society. He believes in what Shakeapare. He thinks that everything that Shakespare says is right, Shakespare had taught him life lessons. Huxley chose Shakespare as the medium of John's intellectual awakening because the book of " Brave new World" is a complete different world from our real life, and Shakespare often use words that we don't use in our life. SO,Huxley wants to make the Utopia complete different. He wants to make us to think about the world as we think about the meanings of the words that Shakespare used.

Morality of the book

I think the book is not Anarchists morality, because the Anarchists means there is no government control the society. I think the book is both Christian morality and socialist morality, because in the Brave New World, people believe in Henry Ford, they believe everything that he says, just like Christian people believe in Jesus. people see Henry Ford as their God. If Henry Ford says something is right to do, then they will do it; if Henry Ford say something that people couldn't do, then nobody would try to do it. The book is also Socialist morality, because the society in the World State is determined by the government. Government tells them what to do, what do not do. For examples: goverment tells them to take somas, which is a kind of drug that would make people feel happy, and they also encourage people to have sex with more than one person. The goverment doesn't want them to be unhappy. They want people to have fun and enjoy their time in the sociey. So, the goventment produce the kids by mechine instead of telling women to give birth. So, I think the book is both Chritian morality and Socialist morality.

The two greatest obscenitiesin the society

The two greatest obscenities in the society of Brave New World are birth and mother. In the society,women don't given birth to a baby. The only things that they do are have sex with other men and take somas, which is a kind of drug that would make them feel happy. They can't have love,they don't care about anyone. They just want to have fun and enjoy times with men. They don't want to get preganant and have babies. The State World make kids in one kind of mechine. The mechine could produce different skills of children. Some kids are smart, some of them are dam. The five castes that consists by the society are Alpha, Betas, Gammas, Deltas and Epsilons.The Alphas are the smartest one, and the Epsilon are the damest one. So, in the society of Brave new World, there doesn't have such things of mother and birth. Mother and birth, these words are only belong to our real life, belong to the place where people really know what is love.

Propaganda in "Brave New World"

In the book of "brave New World", the propaganda is very important. It fluences the opinion of people. It uses the propaganda to convice people to live in the State Worls. The type of propaganda that they use is " Demonizing the enemy", which means making individuals who support the opposing viewpoint appear to be subhuman, worthless, or immoral, through suggestion or false accusations. In "Brave New World", they compare the State World with reservation. They tell Lenina and Bernard to visit the reservation. When they see it, they discover the reservation is a awful place to live. they don't feel happy over there. People are old in the reservation. In the other hand, they make the State World a perfect place to live. Everyone is happy. They don't have to worry anything. No one looks old in the State World. They don't fear about death, because they keep the best toys in the hospital for dying. After they compare the State World and the reservation, people would think the State World is the place they want to live. The propaganda in the Brave New World is so successful,because they create the world that people wants to live in. The life in the State World is everying that people want.

Would you like to live in a different world? In this world, you don't have to worry about anything. You are happy all the time nd you will get best education.

XX, did you say your family is poor, they don't have enough money provide you to go to school? You don't have money to buy anything you like to get. If you come to our world, we would provide education for you. You don't have to pay money to go to school. you will get best education. Everyone in this world go to collage. They find excellent jobs after they graduated. You could buy whatever you want to get. Our government makes everything cheaper than the world that you are living right now.You don't have to worry about money in this world.

XX, you would be happy in this world, too. If you come to our world, you would forget all the unhappy memories.You would only remember happy things in your life. Don't think it is impossible. Try it, you would be hapy in rest of you life if you come to our society.

If the book of "Brave New World" is a prophetic vision of future, then...

Many aspects of the Utopia of brave New World feel uncomfortable like our world. If the book as a prophetic vision of the future, I think the most disturbing one for me is the society consists into five groups. The five groups are Alphas, Betas, Gammars, Deltas and Eplison. The smartest one is Alphas, and the damest one is Eplison. I think this is unfair and unequal. In my opinion, everyone have to be equal. No one can be better than others. If people know you are damest one, they won't be nice to you, and you won't get good educaion. Sleep with more than one person would affect my family. Because if you sleep with more than one person, then you have many children; you won't know waht is love; you don't think about love; you won't think about people's feelings; you won't have a family, because you can't get married in the society. I think the most far-fetched one is we have to hate books and botany since we were eight month until we died. I don't want to hate something in my whole life. It won't make me feel happy. It only makes me feel tired about the world.

Compartion between life in the World State and the United States

The life in the World State and the life in the United States have some similarities and differences. In the World State, people are happy about death, and they can't have love and get married with other people. In the United States, people fear about death, they can have love and could get married with other people. But in both place, people take drugs.
In the World State, people are happy about death, they keep the best toys in the hospital for dying. So, when they want to get the toys, they have to go to the hospital. In this way, they would think dying is not a bad thing. In the World State, people couldn't have love and get married, too. They have to sleep with all the people in the society. If you love someone, or date with someone for long time. It seems unnormal in the society. People would think you are a weair person. They would get angry with you if you tell them.
In the other hand, in the United States, people afraid of death. They think death is a scary thing. but people could have love and get married in the United States. They could choose who ever they like to date and get married with them.
In both place, people take drugs. In the World State, people take somas. They woild feel happy after thay take them. In the United States, people drink alcohols. They often drink alcohols when they are happy and depress. They use alcohol to express their feelings.
As a result, life in the World State and the United States have some similarities and differences. People in both places take drugs. But in the World State, people feel happy about death, and they can't love and get married with other people. In the United States, people could have love and get married with someone they liked.

Rules that I would crate in my Utopia

If I could creat a Utopia, and I could creat any rules. I would creat following rules.

1. Be honest. Everyone must be honest about everyting in the society. In today's world, there are too many liars and lies. This makes people don't know which sentence is right, which sentence is wrong. Lies make people don't trust anything. They also make people suspend about everyting. Only honest could make people feel the world is real and comfortable.

2.Work no more than five hours per day. People in the society have to go to work, but do not work too hours. In this way, they would suppoort the society's economic and few hours of work won't make them feel tired.

3.No cars and traffic. The gasoline would cause air pollusion. So, if we don't have cars in the society, then, we would save money for other things, and we don't have to worry abou air pollusion
problems.

4.Everyone should get education. So, people could read and write. They don't have to ask other people to read letter for them. They could do everything by themselves. They would be more independence,

5.Everyone must be happy in the society. If and only people happy, their life could be better. They don't have to worry about anything in their life.

6.No fighting. If there doesn't have any fights in the society, then the society would be peaceful. No one would get hurt and injured if there is no fight.

7.No hunger in the society. Everyone should have enough food to eat. Only make people feel full, so, they could do better job and feel comfortable.

8. Everyone is equal. No one is better than others. In this way, people won't feel inferior, and they don't have to worry about other people would laugh at them.
